Key Responsibilities

• Perform applicant physical examinations and assists with applicant medical processing at a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS)
• Ensure the confidentiality of applicants is respected and that professionalism is maintained at all times in the medical department.
• Conduct complete face-to-face medical histories on applicants who have completed the prescreen process and have been authorized to process
• Conduct medical procedures used to evaluate and determine military suitability.
• Prepare electronic and non-electronic documentation used to assess the applicant’s mental and physical fitness for service in the military.
• Conduct post-processing inspections according to the medical fitness standards.

• Have passed the PA National Certifying Examination administered by the National Commission on Certification of PAs.
• Achieve and maintain recertification with the National Commission on Certification of PAs.
