Interventional Radiology Technologist

Key Responsibilities

The technologist is responsible for positioning patients and operating sophisticated radiographic equipment to assist specialists during complex interventional procedures. They also ensure patient safety, maintain sterile environments, and manage inventory and patient flow within the vascular lab.

Requirements

Candidates must have attended an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology and hold current ARRT registration. The role requires the ability to perform interventional procedures under supervision and maintain physical requirements such as lifting and standing for long periods.
