Interventional Radiology Technologist

Key Responsibilities

The Interventional Radiology Technologist assists physicians with complex imaging procedures and provides direct patient care across various age groups. They are responsible for operating specialized radiologic equipment, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring radiation safety during interventions.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold valid ARRT registration and Oregon state licensure. A BLS certificate is required, and preference is given to those with two years of experience in complex interventional radiology procedures.
