Key Responsibilities

  • will be working: Work location: Texas Health Springwood: 2717 Tibbits Drive Bedford, TX 76022 Work environment: Behavioral Health Work hours: Full-time (36 Hour) Rotating Shift with rotating weekends and holidays required Department Highlights: Patient population 18 and older Acute Care Behavioral Health Unit 1 & 2 Detoxification/ Chemical Dependency- Unit 3 Please provide the following during the application: Resume Official nursing school transcript (Unofficial transcript accepted until official is available) Exemplar/Essay: In one-to-two pages, tell a story of a clinical situation that was especially meaningful to you as a student nurse and that has helped shape your practice today Things you need for the position: ADN (Associates Nursing Degree) is required upon hire; BSN preferred Graduated within the last 12 months preferred Less than one-year experience at the time the residency begins preferred Have not previously completed a THR nursing residency preferred Current RN licensure (Texas or Compact State).

Requirements

Applicants must possess an Associate Nursing Degree (ADN) upon hire, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, and should have graduated within the last 12 months with less than one year of experience preferred. Current Texas or Compact State RN licensure is mandatory, along with BCLS certification.
