Key Responsibilities

• Provision of individual treatment, education and ongoing assessment of progress to patients using evidence

• based modalities including: cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), interpersonal therapy, and trauma

• informed care

• Facilitation of abstinence

Requirements

• Completion of a Master’s degree program in Counselling, Social Work, Psychotherapy

• Registration in good standing as required by professional body, e. g. CCPA, BCACC, CCAC, NSCCT

• Experience is an asset however new graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience facilitating group programs and therapeutic groups is required.

• Experience working in a residential mental health and addiction treatment setting is considered a strong asset.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly rate: $48.1/hr.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
