About the Role
The Social Worker provides psychosocial assessment and treatment for Veterans and their families. This role supports Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Veterans with care coordination and psychosocial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat psychosocial problems of Veterans and families.
- Provide care coordination within PACT.
- Work independently within clinical privileges.
Requirements
- Relevant social work clinical skills.
- Ability to work with psychiatric, medical, and social problems.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $85,768 to $134,895 per year.
- Full federal benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- No weekends explicitly stated.

This position is permanent with no relocation assistance or telework eligibility. The role is based in Denton, Texas with two other vacancies in Grand Prairie, Texas. The position is excepted service under GS 9-11 scale.
