Key Responsibilities

  • Management of sexually transmitted diseases
  • Provide routine prenatal and postpartum care co-managed with the primary Obstetrician
  • Provide all appropriate contraceptive methods including IUDs and Nexplanon
  • Performs gynecological procedures skillfully within scope of practice

Requirements

  • NAMS certification within 1 year of hire must be obtained For Physician Assistants: Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant
  • Must possess (or be able to obtain) current unrestricted license to practice in the State of New Mexico as a PA
