Key Responsibilities
- Management of sexually transmitted diseases
- Provide routine prenatal and postpartum care co-managed with the primary Obstetrician
- Provide all appropriate contraceptive methods including IUDs and Nexplanon
- Performs gynecological procedures skillfully within scope of practice
Requirements
- NAMS certification within 1 year of hire must be obtained For Physician Assistants: Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant
- Must possess (or be able to obtain) current unrestricted license to practice in the State of New Mexico as a PA
