Respiratory Therapist Intern, PRN

A Respiratory Intern is responsible for performing EKGs, assisting with MUSE maintenance, cleaning and assembling respiratory equipment, and providing support to respiratory therapists as needed. This role involves delivering appropriate care to patients across all age groups, from neonate through geriatric, while considering age-specific needs.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program, requiring a current BLS certification, with ACLS being preferred. The position is classified as safety-sensitive, requiring good physical and emotional well-being to handle stress, walking, bending, pushing heavy equipment, and occasional patient lifting.
