About the Role

Join Ensemble Health Partners as an RN Clinical Documentation Specialist based in Florida with a hybrid work model requiring one day on-site weekly. Support health systems by improving physician documentation to ensure accurate severity of illness and risk of mortality coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records within 24-48 hours of admission.
• Assign principal diagnoses and evaluate severity of illness.
• Clarify documentation with physicians.
• Educate healthcare providers on documentation improvement.
• Collaborate with coding and care coordination teams.
• Prepare appeals for payor reconsideration.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum five years acute care nursing experience, preferably Pediatric/NICU.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months.
• Excellent communication and physician relations skills.
