OB/GYN Physician (PH5006 - Westover Hills)

Join CommuniCare Health as a OB/GYN Physician (PH5006 - Westover Hills) in San Antonio, Texas. Provides quality, comprehensive in-patient and/or out-patient (as per individual employment agreements) primary health care services to the Center’s patients. Reports directly to the Director of OB/GYN regarding clinical issues and activities related to the delivery of medical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers patients assigned to physician’s panel, on an in-patient and/or out-patient basis (as per individual employment agreements); prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assess medical conditions.

• Assures continuity of care by providing comprehensive medical services on a timely basis as per Clinic schedule within the Center’s scope of practice and the provider’s training.

• Refers clients for appropriate specialty care services, lab and x-ray and any other ancillary services that are appropriate for the patient’s management and care.

• Reviews all lab and x-ray reports for patients under his/her care on a timely basis and makes medical management decisions appropriately.

• Normal fine and gross motor control of fingers and hands.

• Talking: Frequently conveying detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, clearly, or quickly.
