Key Responsibilities
- level registered nurse that is licensed as a practitioner, who supports and works in conjunction with physicians to enhance patient care. Supports smooth back
- Order and/or administer injections, and administer medications within scope of practice.
- Oversee IVs and Injections that are being provided for any and all contrast exams.
- Monitor and administer medications for CCTA examinations within scope of practice.
Requirements
- Counsel and provide education to patient and family in wellness, care, prevention, and in coping with altered state of health.
- Promote and provide early intervention, and make appropriate referrals.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and exercises universal precautions when dealing with all patients, exams, and procedures.
- Maintain current and appropriate state licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
