Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with a variety of developmental disorders, gross motor movement dysfunction, and orthopedic disorders.
- Evaluate assessment and test results and medical or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for ambulation, strengthening, gross motor, core, balance, and vestibular disorders.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited university with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a graduate degree that the APTA recognizes A current State of South Carolina professional license (SC LLR).
- Knowledge and understanding of children’s developmental stages from ages 0-18 to properly analyze the growth, movement (motor), cognitive, and maturation process/transition between skill levels.
- Previous pediatric experience is required through employment or clinical rotation.
