About the Role

Join American Addiction Centers as a Radiation Therapist – Part-Time, Registry Position in United States. Department: 37303 Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital - Oncology: Radiation Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hours Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Registry position to help cover staff PTO and to pick up when volumes are high and high patient acuity. Pay Range $41.

Key Responsibilities

• Administers Radiation Therapy treatments in compliance with physician prescription and treatment plan.

• 1)Is able to reproduce setup in the treatment room as indicated in treatment chart utilizing appropriate positioning aides.

• 2)Maintains visual and audible contact with patients at all times.

• 3)Reports all errors to the Supervisor, Radiation Oncology.

Requirements

• 3)Participates in the early morning warm-up program.

• Assists in the orientation and education of patients regarding treatments and side effects.

• 1)Reinforces Radiation Oncologist and nurse’s advice regarding side effects.

• 2)Reports any unusual side effects to Nursing and/or Radiation Oncologist.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $85,488 - $128,232/year

• Part-Time position.

• Call responsibilities required.
