About the Role

Join Boulder Care as a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in Addiction Medicine. This remote telehealth role focuses on providing medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage care for patients with complex substance use disorders.
Prescribe buprenorphine-based medications regularly.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
Provide care primarily via telehealth including video, phone, and text.
Complete thorough documentation and participate in team communications.

Requirements

Active NP license and PMHNP certification in one of the approved states including Kansas.
Minimum 1 year addiction treatment experience prescribing buprenorphine independently.
3+ years clinical experience preferred.
Ability to work part-time (4-25 hours/week) with at least one recurring evening shift.
Dedicated private workspace with high-speed internet.
