About the Role
Join Boulder Care as a part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in Addiction Medicine. This remote telehealth role focuses on providing medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage care for patients with complex substance use disorders.
- Prescribe buprenorphine-based medications regularly.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Provide care primarily via telehealth including video, phone, and text.
- Complete thorough documentation and participate in team communications.
Requirements
- Active NP license and PMHNP certification in one of the approved states including Kansas.
- Minimum 1 year addiction treatment experience prescribing buprenorphine independently.
- 3+ years clinical experience preferred.
- Ability to work part-time (4-25 hours/week) with at least one recurring evening shift.
- Dedicated private workspace with high-speed internet.
