Behavioral Interventionist (Paid Training)

About the Role
Join Cortica as a Behavioral Interventionist providing direct behavior therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and neurodevelopmental differences. This role involves working in various settings including home, community, school, and clinic as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend paid orientation and complete BCAT training.
- Implement behavior-analytic services in 1:1 and group settings.
- Use positive behavior strategies developed with BCBAs.
- Collect data and complete session notes.
- Assist with assessments and preference evaluations.
- Collaborate with families and supervisors to support treatment.
- Follow crisis and emergency procedures including de-escalation.
Requirements
- Experience working with children, preferably with autism.
- Registered Behavior Technician or willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 45 days.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Skilled with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Preferably knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations.
