Key Responsibilities

The Ambulatory Care Assistant provides clinical and clerical support to medical staff in an outpatient OBGYN clinic, including patient care, specimen collection, and medication administration. They also manage medical records, schedule appointments, and ensure the efficient operation of the unit through inventory maintenance and quality assurance participation.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of a Medical Assistant program or possess one year of clinical experience. Certification in Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire, and registration or certification as a medical assistant is preferred.
