About the Role

Join University of Iowa as a HR Generalist - Internal Medicine in United States. BASIC FUNCTION The HR Generalist serves as a business partner to facilitate the effective Human Resource operations of the Department of Internal Medicine for UI Health Care. Collaborates with HR team members and HR Director to interpret and apply HR policies, laws, and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of current human resource principles, practices and processes and current federal and state laws, statues, regulations, and policies pertaining to human resources.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, maintain confidentiality, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while possessing a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer software applications.
