Key Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient clinical care in an ambulatory setting.
- Performs pregnancy confirmation and introduces pregnant patients into the prenatal program at the clinic. Provides prenatal care in coordination with physicians.
- Provides appropriate level of clinical and educational services as needed, that is age and condition appropriate.
- Participates in performance improvement (PI) projects.
Requirements
- Education: Requires a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS), Health Science (MHS), or Medical Science (MM Sc).
- Experience: Requires two to four years of work
- related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Provides direct patient clinical care in an ambulatory setting.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
