Join University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) as a Physician and Outreach Liaison – Community Engagement in Galveston, Texas, United States. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Healthcare or related field and three years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Clinical experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Promotes internal clinical/service line programs to external referring providers, employers, Emergency Medical Services, and the community.
- Maintains understanding of current and changing UTMB strategic and business development initiatives to target specific opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate regularly with representatives from Faculty Group Practice (FGP) to identify and promote new faculty externally and internally as appropriate.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Healthcare or related field and three years of related experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Clinical experience is highly desirable.
- At least five years of physician relations, health care sales or marketing experience to include business/sales plan development.
- Job Summary: Cultivates referrals to UTMB through relationship development with UTMB physicians, external physicians, employers, community organizations, EMS, and community members.
Work Schedule
- Weekend coverage may be required.
