About the Role

Join OSF HealthCare as a Physician Assistant Wound Care – Outpatient Clinic in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Will see approximately 12-18 patients a day Perform comprehensive inpatient assessments of patients with acute and chronic wounds, ostomies, and incontinence Develop and implement evidence-based wound care treatment plans, including ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, medications, dressings, and devices Provide wound debridement, negative pressure wound therapy, biopsies, and other procedures as indicated Monitor and evaluate patient progress and response to treatment Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound prevention, management, and self-care Document patient encounters and interventions in the electronic medical record Communicate effectively with other members of the health care team Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities Hyperbaric chamber experience preferred, training is available if needed.

Develop and implement evidence-based wound care treatment plans, including ordering appropriate diagnostic t.

Provide wound debridement, negative pressure wound therapy, biopsies, and other procedures as indicated Moni.
