Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose is to advance chat counseling for children and adolescents on the krisenchat platform to an excellent standard, focusing on acute, challenging, or prioritized chats, mainly during evening and night hours. The role also involves mentoring interns and volunteers using a four-eyes principle and participating in the continuous development of the platform and counseling features.

Requirements

Candidates must be a state-recognized social worker or hold a completed Master's degree in Psychology (or be an advanced Master's student) with prior experience in counseling children and adolescents, ideally via chat formats. Essential requirements include a deep understanding of technical processes, knowledge of psychological disorders, and familiarity with topics like suicidality, child welfare risks, and sexualized violence.
