Medical Director, Cardiology

About the Role

Lead the strategic direction of GE HealthCare's Americas Medical Affairs cardiology activities, focusing on diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals for cardiac PET imaging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external key opinion leaders to develop and implement medical strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of medical strategy for cardiology products.
• Manage society partnerships, advisory boards, and coordinate with global teams.
• Provide medical leadership for brand and product teams including promotional review.
• Engage with scientific societies and external researchers to support product objectives.
• Represent GE HealthCare at scientific conferences.
• Travel extensively (up to 50%) and occasional weekend or extended hours.

Requirements

• Graduate degree (MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, etc.) with minimum 7 years related experience.
• Strong research and operational understanding of healthcare trends.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of compliance standards and US healthcare systems.
• Must reside in the United States.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $164,000 - $246,000 annually.
• Eligible for performance-based incentives including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
• Occasional weekend or extended work hours may be required.
