Key Responsibilities

  • Treats illnesses, abscesses, skin injuries, malignancies, skin infections, and other skin conditions Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, and other procedures as appropriate.
  • Assists Physician(s) in surgical procedures, surgically excises cutaneous malignancies, cysts, birthmarks, and other growths, suturing, wound care, and other procedures as appropriate.

Requirements

  • SECTION 3: Experience Requirements Minimum two years of work experience in a medical office, required.
  • Minimum two years of Dermatology experience, required SECTION 4: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, required.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical billing coding, including CPT and ICD-10 coding, required.
