About the Role

Join Birmingham City Council as a Social Worker in United States. Key Responsibilities

  • To meet Adult Social Care’s statutory responsibilities as detailed in Section 42 of the Care Act.
  • To respond to Safeguarding Concerns, conduct Safeguarding Enquiries and formulate Safeguarding Plans as required.
  • To work closely with citizens, carers, colleagues and partner agencies in line with the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal.
  • Ensure compliance with legal.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Work England registration.
  • Experience delivering social work services to vulnerable adults.
  • Experience of Adult Safeguarding is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
