About the Role

Join The Children's Home of Pittsburgh as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist – Full-Time, Generous PTO in United States. Description The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive occupational therapy to patients birth to age 21.

Key Responsibilities

  • will provide comprehensive occupational therapy to patients birth to age 21.
  • will be involved in implementing treatment and education plans by evaluating the developmental needs of all pediatric patients in our inpatient and outpatient programs.
  • Must have the flexibility to schedule early intervention patients around inpatient and outpatient needs and maintain flexibility on evenings and weekends as needed.
  • provide comprehensive occupational therapy to patients birth to age 21.

Requirements

  • the flexibility to schedule early intervention patients around inpatient and outpatient needs and maintain flexibility on evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients of all programs and external contracts.
  • Occupational therapy treatment consists of evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, consultation, documentation, follow up and discharge planning.
  • Demonstrate awareness and ability to implement Occupational Therapy treatment following all necessary safety precautions for self and patient.
