The Behavioral Health Specialist facilitates therapeutic groups and provides meal support to assist clients in managing their eating disorders. They also contribute to a recovery-oriented environment and perform case management duties such as discharge planning and treatment team coordination.
A bachelor's degree in a mental or behavioral health-related field is strongly preferred, though an associate's degree with equivalent experience may be considered. A minimum of one year of direct patient care experience in a mental or behavioral health setting is required.
