About the Role

Join Boulder Care as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in Addiction Medicine. This part-time telehealth role focuses on outpatient medication-assisted treatment for Substance Use Disorders (SUD) using buprenorphine-based medications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage care for patients with complex SUDs and comorbidities.
  • Incorporate harm reduction practices and empower patients in recovery.
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Complete thorough documentation and collaborate on treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Active NP license and PMHNP certification in one of the approved states.
  • Minimum 1 year of addiction treatment experience prescribing buprenorphine independently.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and telehealth technology.
