Staff Clinical Pharmacist - North Fulton Oncology

Key Responsibilities

The Staff Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for integrating patient-centered pharmaceutical care with traditional distributive and drug control activities, providing consultative services like antibiotic dosing, warfarin dosing, and IV-to-PO conversions. This role also involves advising the medical team on drug interactions and contraindications to ensure optimal medication therapy while adhering to Georgia State Pharmacy Law.

Requirements

The minimum education requirement is a Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from an accredited School of Pharmacy, though a Pharm.D. and PGY1 Residency completion are preferred. Candidates must have an active Georgia Pharmacist License upon hire, and preferred experience includes hospital pharmacy experience and a minimum of two years of clinical pharmacy experience.
