Key Responsibilities

Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition and develop, implement and modify treatment plans.

Counsel clients or patients, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or developing skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.

Act as client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.

Requirements

Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology or a related healthcare, social science or human services field Delaware licensure in a counseling field (i.

-, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health) One year of social work and behavioral health experience.
