Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition and develop, implement and modify treatment plans.

• Counsel clients or patients, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or developing skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.

• Act as client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, psychology or a related healthcare, social science or human services field Delaware licensure in a counseling field (i.

-, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health) One year of social work and behavioral health experience.
