Key Responsibilities
The Social Worker is responsible for maximizing client/family functioning within rehabilitation, maintenance, or palliation contexts by enhancing problem-solving and coping capacities through various interventions. Key duties include managing pre-admission procedures, coordinating new admissions, acting as a resident/family advocate, and planning social work programs to meet ongoing psychological needs.
Requirements
The role requires the ability to respond to inquiries regarding placement and policies, conduct home tours, and manage all pre-admission steps including screening and assessments. The individual must also function as part of the multi-disciplinary team, facilitate resident groups, organize conferences, and provide educational services on social work topics.
