Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage a panel of patients with the exclusive attention of an expert primary care provider
Perform a comprehensive, evidence-based assessment
Use advanced clinical judgment to diagnose
Synthesize relevant data to develop a person-centered, evidence-based plan of care
Prescribe medications and manage prescriptions based on evidence-based guidelines
This structure ensures a balanced approach to developing hands-on clinical skills alongside essential academic and didactic education

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements FNP Degree: Must have received a Nurse Practitioner (NP) degree in Family Medicine within the last 48 months
Licensing: Must hold a current and active New York State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and registration
Certification: Must be board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner, or eligible for certification
Experience: Open to newly licensed Nurse Practitioners or those with less than one year of clinical experience in family medicine

Benefits & Compensation

Compensation: Maintain existing salary of any RN who is selected for the program; External Hires shall receive $85,000 annually
