About the Role
Join MD Anderson Cancer Center's Colon & Rectal Surgical Oncology department as a Physician Assistant in a high-volume outpatient surgical oncology setting. Work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with no nights, weekends, or call.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive history and physical exams for new and follow-up patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and fellows to develop care plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Perform minor outpatient procedures.
- Manage pre- and post-operative care.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Participate in education, research, and administrative initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree from accredited PA program.
- Physician Assistant certification and Texas license.
- BLS, ACLS required; PALS if pediatric care involved.
- Preferred surgical or critical care experience.

- Salary range $117,500 to $176,500 annually.
