About the Role

Join MD Anderson Cancer Center's Colon & Rectal Surgical Oncology department as a Physician Assistant in a high-volume outpatient surgical oncology setting. Work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with no nights, weekends, or call.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive history and physical exams for new and follow-up patients.
Collaborate with physicians and fellows to develop care plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Perform minor outpatient procedures.
Manage pre- and post-operative care.
Provide patient and family education.
Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
Participate in education, research, and administrative initiatives.

Requirements

Master's degree from accredited PA program.
Physician Assistant certification and Texas license.
BLS, ACLS required; PALS if pediatric care involved.
Preferred surgical or critical care experience.

Salary range $117,500 to $176,500 annually.
