Physician Assistant Colon & Rectal Surgery (Outpatient)

About the Role

Join MD Anderson Cancer Center's Colon & Rectal Surgical Oncology department as a Physician Assistant in a high-volume outpatient surgical oncology setting. Work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with no nights, weekends, or call.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical exams for new and follow-up patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and fellows to develop care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Perform minor outpatient procedures.
• Manage pre- and post-operative care.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Participate in education, research, and administrative initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree from accredited PA program.
• Physician Assistant certification and Texas license.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS if pediatric care involved.
• Preferred surgical or critical care experience.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range $117,500 to $176,500 annually.
