About the Role
Join Richmond Area Multi-Servi as a Behavioral Health Counselor – No Weekends in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct brief biopsychosocial assessments to determine a client’s suitability for work assignments, mental health counseling or other referrals.
- Participate in and facilitate client outreach at Navigation Centers and/or SROs in San Francisco to further support client engagement in various city and county programs
- Provide culturally sensitive, short
- term (up to 4 months), mental health and substance abuse counseling to individuals and groups, along with case management
Requirements
- MS/MA in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field, from an accredited institution.
- Current BBS licensure or registration
- One year of direct services experience in a community
- Proficiency in conducting clinical & functional assessments of clients with both behavioral health and physical complaints.
