About the Role

This is a full-time contract Social Worker position based in California providing telehealth and on-site support to K-12 students. You will assess and support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs through interviews and observations.
• Deliver individual and group counseling addressing anxiety, grief, trauma, and behavioral challenges.
• Develop intervention plans and track student progress.
• Crisis intervention and risk assessments related to suicide and self-harm.
• Collaborate with parents and school staff including updating IEPs.

Requirements

• Licensed Social Worker (SSW) credential in California.
• Experience working with K-12 students in school settings.
• Skilled in assessments and counseling.
• Ability to manage crisis situations professionally.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with disabilities and special education processes.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly pay range $45.00 to $57.75.
• Contract duration December through April with possible extension.

Work Schedule

• Approximately 37.5 hours per week.
