Key Responsibilities

The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive medical care for older adults, including diagnosis, treatment, and health promotion for acute and chronic illnesses. They lead a care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty with an active state medical license. Board eligibility is required, and board certification is preferred, along with a current DEA number and BLS certification.
