Overview UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital Full-Time M-F, 8 hr shifts The staff Speech Therapist functions as an integral part of the rehabilitation team and has a responsibility for evaluating and treating patients requiring services associated with speech therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilizes of appropriate Speech Therapy interventions to produce desired outcomes.

• Utilizes of appropriate documentation and billing to communicate progress and status to physicians, other healthcare professionals and third party reimbursement.

• Utilizes critical thinking in making independent judgements and maintains responsibility and accountability for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients.
