About the Role
Join Northern Virginia Adolescent Treatment Center as a Primary Therapist – Sunday-Thursday Schedule in [object Object].
Key Responsibilities
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conduct individual, group or family counseling sessions as scheduled and document as required.
- Facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.
- Responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessment for patient.
- Prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned patient.
Requirements
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in social or health services field required and two or more years’ experience in the counseling field.
- OR Bachelor's degree in health services field required and four or more years’ experience in counseling field required.
- OR Associate Level State or national licensure for professional therapy providers required.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
- Day shift only - no nights.
