About the Role

Join Northern Virginia Adolescent Treatment Center as a Primary Therapist – Sunday-Thursday Schedule in [object Object].

Key Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conduct individual, group or family counseling sessions as scheduled and document as required.

Facilitate assigned group or family sessions and assist with modifying problem behaviors.

Responsible for initial assessments, as well as follow up assessment for patient.

Prepare individual treatment plan for each assigned patient.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in social or health services field required and two or more years’ experience in the counseling field.

OR Bachelor's degree in health services field required and four or more years’ experience in counseling field required.

OR Associate Level State or national licensure for professional therapy providers required.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Weekend coverage may be required.

Day shift only - no nights.
