About the Role

Join University of North Texas System as a Assistant Professor - Psychiatrist in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients through UNT Health Clinical Practice Group, including medication management and psychotherapy as appropriate.
  • Provide psychiatric services to JPS Employee Health Clinic as part of the interagency collaboration, ensuring continuity of care and documentation compliance.
  • Teach, mentor, and supervise medical students and residents within the TCOM and UNT Health framework.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Physical

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
  • Eligible for or holds a Texas medical license.
