About the Role
Join Larkin Community Hospital as a Behavioral Health Technician – Emergency Department in United States. Job Duties: * Provides supportive care to the Emergency Department patients under the direct supervision of the Registered nurse assigned to your area or physician. * Assists Registered Nurse and physicians with assessments, examinations and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides supportive care to the Emergency Department patients under the direct supervision of the Registered nurse assigned to your area or physician.
- Assists Registered Nurse and physicians with assessments, examinations and treatment.
- Supervise patients in the Emergency Department conscientiously with emphasis on patient safety and well
- Assists in assuring daily program activities: transports patients, admissions and discharges, and supervises all recreational activities.
Requirements
- Communicate in English and Spanish fluently. Qualifications:
- BLS certification required.
- EMT, Paramedic and/or Medical Assistant license, preferred.
- Education: High School or equivalent. Graduation from a foreign medical and/or Medical Assistant program preferred.
