Psychiatrist - On-Site

Join Northern Tier Counseling as a Psychiatrist – Part-Time, On-Site in Towanda, Pennsylvania. If you are an experienced Psychiatrist, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary Outpatient practice. This role is 2 days per week and offers the chance to work in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management services to individuals, adolescents, and children who experience a wide array of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, adult/childhood ADHD, addiction issues, and trauma.

• Prescribe and adjust as needed all maintenance medications at least every 90 days.

• Document all services provided through electronic medical records system Carelogic.

• Become part of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals providing a diverse set of mental health services across several programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited medical school with specialty training in psychiatry.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.

• Pennsylvania State Licensed and current DEA.

• Ability to develop competence with software typically used by the department.
