Join Loretto as a Resident Counselor – Psychiatric Group Home in Syracuse, New York. Under general supervision, the Residence Counselor is responsible for guidance and well-being of residents with psychiatric disabilities in a community residence (group home). Staff are teachers of skills with the goal of increasing resident’s independence.
This position offers no call requirements. Work with Loretto in Syracuse, New York.
The Resident Counselor provides guidance and support to residents with psychiatric disabilities to increase their independence through daily living skills training. They are responsible for implementing service plans, managing medications, documenting resident progress, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid, clean NYS driver's license. Experience in human services or working with adults with mental health disabilities is strongly preferred.
