About the Role

Join UTHealth Houston as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner providing acute care in community hospital NICUs. Participate in daily NICU rounds and attend high-risk deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide complete care for NICU infants.
  • Conduct independent and physician-supervised rounding.
  • Order and interpret labs and diagnostics.
  • Stabilize and transfer neonates as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies.

Requirements

  • Current Texas RN and APRN-NP licenses.
  • Specialty certification as required.
  • BLS certification.
  • Master's degree in Nursing or post-master's NP certification.
  • New graduates welcome.
