Psychologist, Level I

Key Responsibilities

The psychologist will conduct psychological testing and interviews to evaluate the emotional and intellectual functioning of candidates for the NYPD. They are also responsible for preparing findings and maintaining accurate records of test performance results.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in a relevant field of psychology or complete specific graduate coursework and supervised experience. A valid license as a Psychologist issued by the New York State Department of Education is required for this position.
