Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct management of critically ill patients in the MICU * Perform admissions, daily management, and.
- Provide continuous 24/7 coverage for an additional MICU service * Function with a mix of autonomy and collab.
- manage ICU-level consults for oncology patients * Partner with oncology and ICU teams for escalation and co.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit or inpatient units cared for by th.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (or equivalent, if license received prior to July 1, 2001) from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Ability to obtain Illinois advanced practice nurse (APN) license by start date required.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse required.
- AANC certification as an ACNP and/or ANP
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Night or evening shifts may be required.
