Mental Health Counselor (36 hrs/week)

Join Tufts Medicine as a Mental Health Counselor (36 hrs/week) in Massachusetts. Schedule This position is 36 hours per week on mostly days but some nights rotation with rotating weekend shifts and holidays. Job Profile Summary This role focuses on providing medical and clinical support services to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides behavioral evaluation services to patients and are specialized in the evaluation and treatment of mental, emotional, and/or behavioral issues.

• A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs.

• An entry level role that applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.

• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, or related human service field.

• One (1) year of previous direct patient care experience.
