About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing counseling & support services to children and families – modalities of treatment can be individual, family or group
  • Components of CPST to be provided by the MH Support Counselor
  • o Intensive Interventions counseling
  • o Crisis Avoidance counseling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services/human service or related field + 3years’ experience
  • Strong engagement skills
  • Knowledge of best practices for working with children and families
  • Experience in child welfare and/or mental health services to children and families
