About the Role

Join PACS as a Physical Therapist (PT) in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • & Responsibilities Clinical Excellence: Evaluate residents to determine physical therapy needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential in accordance with physician orders.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
  • Supervision & Training: Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and assist the nursing department with the training of Restorative Aides.
  • Collaboration: Communicate regularly with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress, goals, and discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Equipment Management: Recommend and facilitate the ordering of durable medical equipment (DME) such as walkers, canes, and splints to enhance resident independence.
  • Education: Provide in-service training for facility staff and educate families on fall prevention and home exercise programs.
  • Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensure: Current and active California Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for new grads).
