Key Responsibilities
- AND RESPONSIBILTIES: · Recognizes patients’ rights and responsibilities and supports them in the performance of job duties; respects patient’s rights to privacy and confidentiality.
- · Compounds sterile preparations for dispensing using aseptic technique.
- · Maintains knowledge of USP chapter to assure the quality, sterility, and stability of compounded sterile preparations.
- · Reviews, processes, and checks physician orders and patient medication profiles.
