About the Role

Join MyMichigan Health as a Physical Therapist II in United States. Summary This position is responsible for providing advanced specialty care in Physical Therapy. This position performs direct patient care, supervisory, educational and administrative functions and is responsible for marketing, program development and program implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluates the patient's function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status. (20%)
  • Develops a goal specific treatment regime based on assessment data and the patient's tolerance to carry? out the treatment plan as prescribed. (20%)
  • Devises a schedule of treatment, which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff. (20%)

Requirements

  • AND TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to stressful situations, including those involving public contact, as well as, trauma, grief and death.
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment that includes latex materials or appropriate substitute if required for your position.
  • Is able to move freely about facility with or without an assisted device and must be able to perform the functions of the job as outlined in the job description.
  • Overall vision and hearing is necessary with or without assisted device(s).
