The Speech Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adult patients within their homes. They also provide aural rehabilitation and implement augmentative and alternative communication systems for patients with severe expressive or comprehension disorders.
Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). A current CPR certification is required, and one year of experience in speech pathology is preferred.
